Attorney General Loretta Lynch recently spoke to reporters about North Carolina’s decision to sue the federal government in response to the Department of Justice’s ruling on the state’s House bathroom bill, HB2. The department ruled that the state’s law requiring transgender people to use the restroom that corresponds with their sex at birth violates Title IX.
